It was so amazing experience this!its very Serene, very calm, good trails.got to watch a bald eagle eat his lunch today, felt very lucky.
Great place and we’ll kept. Haven’t camped there yet due to fire restrictions. The pond is just that a pond.
Water level is incredible this year! Trout are decent sizes this year and have become alittle more challenging to catch. They don't just bite at anything. I just wish they had a no boat or paddle boarding sign up. People are very rude on them and wont hesitate to float over your lines and where you're fishing.
A nice little trail around the campground and Davis Lake
Great campground. Very clean bathrooms. Near the freeway, so easy to get to. You hear the freeway in the background but far enough away that it doesn't stop you from getting a good night's sleep in a tent. Well managed campground
This is a year round favorite park of ours to visit - nice place to see the seasons changing. The paths are nicely kept up with sand or asphalt and the bushes and branches are cut back for easy walking. The bathrooms are convenient and well attended to. It’s beautiful in the fall with the leaves changing - as we witness this very afternoon! Bring the family - nice place to play in nature!
A wonderful place to hike, fish, and camp. It’s wonderful to be under Slide Mountain (hopefully it doesn’t slide again) and all of the nature is beautiful. Campsites were clean and well-kept. Bathrooms had plumbing and heaters. A great spot! I’d definitely come back again.
Davis Creek Regional Park is a great place to hiking, camping, or to just enjoy the day. There are about two miles of loop trails (Discovery and Nature Trails) around the pond and campground areas which are mostly flat. The longer 7.5 mile Ophir Creek Trail climbs up toward Slide Mountain towards the Mount Rose area. There are a few creeks in the park which flow to Davis Pond, which a great place to relax and enjoy the view. Awesome place for a short hike and great scenery.
